Rod

In early 2018, Rod embarked on a transformative journey, becoming certified in yoga to deepen his understanding of the physiological benefits of asana. Through life’s trials and the universe guiding him towards his true purpose, he immersed himself in the study of Eastern philosophy and the rich traditions of yogic practices. This exploration has cultivated within him a profound appreciation for the teachings of Pattabhi Jois and his lineage through the daily practice of Ashtanga. He is passionate about sharing these insights with others, helping them find balance, strength, and serenity which leads them further into self exploration on their own journeys.

Katie

Katie's yoga journey began in 2014 as a high schooler seeking the physical strength and flexibility that yoga had to offer; however, she quickly recognized the mental health benefits that came along with an intentional practice. From here, yoga was the catalyst for her to embrace a life of love and kindness towards herself and others. Her teacher training 2018-2019 with URU Yoga was based in Vinyasa, which means "to place with intention." While Katie incorporates various styles of yoga into her practices, she always brings the mindful connection of breath and movement to her classes. She believes that yoga is a self-discipline for you to live a full and genuine life free of suffering. Show up as you are, be open to the growth.

Sydney

Sydney began her yoga journey in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the practice of a mind, body and spirit connection. In 2014 she deepened her studies by living in an ashram and receiving her 200 YTT in India. The lineage she delved into and teaches roots in the practice of Akhanda, meaning "whole", which focuses on philosophy, mantra, asana, meditation and pranayama. Two years and many hours of teaching later, she went back to Rishikesh, India and received her 500 hour certification. Seeing a need in the community for breath centered yoga and a mindful space to call home, after a decade of manifesting and intentional creation, she opened up Golden Hour.

Sydney will always to offer a safe, nurturing, and deepening space for practitioners of any age, level, background and body type, to feel heard, seen and worthy of an opportunity to connect deeply within themselves and their practice.

Shahana

Shahana Hanley discovered yoga in her early 20's by happenstance. The OM from the street drew her in and the rest is the story that culminated from that journey. She completed her 500 hour yoga teacher training under the tutelage of Lisa Rapp at My Yoga Spirit, who to this day continues to be her teacher and friend. Classes are vinyasa infused with a homage to the lineage, music, and a laughter for the self. She has her Master's in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice locally.

Mukta

Mukta Muge is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) with over a decade of experience and the owner of BumpFlow Yoga. She has over 800 hours of training from her home in Istanbul, UK, India and the USA, and has developed her own way of teaching over the years. Her unique background as a yoga therapist opened many doors of ob-gyn, hospital, midwife, doula offices, and allowed her to work with them elbow to elbow where she had opportunity for continuous growth on pregnancy, labor and postpartum.

Katherine

Katherine completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2024 and is currently diving deeper into her 300-hour certification at ElemenTree Yoga Studio. Additionally trained in Reiki, she recognizes the energetic body alongside the physical. Her teaching focuses on safety, wellbeing, and sustainable movement — helping students build strength and awareness. Her love for yoga started way back in childhood, where she first discovered the mat as a safe space to leave the world behind and connect to the beyond. That early connection has carried her through the years and continues to inspire her approach to teaching today. Outside of the studio, Katherine is a research associate at IHMC, where she explores the science of exercise physiology. She’s also into weightlifting and running, blending her passion for movement and research into classes meant to bring ease to the body.

Niraj

Niraj began his yoga journey in January 2021 by jumping into a 200-hour teacher training at Elementree Yoga Studio in Navarre, FL. He completed his foundational training and continued with advanced 300-hour studies, graduating in May 2023.

Trained in the Viniyoga tradition, Niraj applies all practices of yoga - asana, mantra, breathwork, and philosophy - to meet students where they are and help solve real life problems. The word "viniyoga" comes from Yoga Sutra 3.6 and means "application," reflecting his practical approach to teaching.

Niraj has taught vinyasa, yin, and functional mobility classes, and now brings his expertise to Golden Hour meditation sessions.

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher in the lineage of B.K.S. Iyengar, bringing both precision and heart to her teaching. With advanced training and years of dedicated practice, she blends mindful alignment with breath-focused, creatively sequenced classes that are both grounding and expansive.

Rooted in the timeless wisdom of the Yoga Sutras, her classes go beyond the physical practice, offering students a space to connect with breath, cultivate inner awareness, and explore the deeper dimensions of yoga. Each practice is designed to meet students where they are while guiding them toward clarity, strength, and presence on and off the mat.
